The Western Nevada College moves scholarship deadline to May 15

The Western Nevada College (WNC) Foundation has extended its 2026-2027 scholarship application deadline to May 15, giving students additional time to apply for financial support toward their studies at Western Nevada College.

According to Carson Now, each year, the WNC Foundation awards more than 250 scholarships, distributing over $870,000 to students across a wide range of academic programs and fields of study. The scholarships are open to new, returning, part-time, and full-time students, with many applicants eligible to receive multiple awards through a single application.

The application process is designed to be simple and efficient, allowing students to be considered for several scholarships by completing one online form. Applicants are encouraged to dedicate attention to their personal statement, which plays an important role in the selection process.
