Google AI tools integrated into Digital School platform in Azerbaijan

Under a partnership agreement between Azerbaijan's Ministry of Science and Education and Google, new capabilities have been made available to teachers on the Digital School platform. The integration aims to help educators organize their daily work more efficiently and enrich the overall teaching process.

Among the tools now available, the AI-powered Gemini and NotebookLM stand out for their practical, everyday-use capabilities. Gemini supports teachers in preparing lesson plans, explaining topics, and creating assessment tasks, helping to speed up lesson preparation and present content in a more structured way. NotebookLM, on the other hand, enables teachers to work directly with their own materials - generating summaries, identifying key points, and producing questions from uploaded documents, making it a particularly useful tool for lesson preparation and review.

These AI solutions, teachers have been provided with access to a comprehensive set of Google Workspace tools, including Google Classroom, Docs, Slides, Sheets, Forms, Drive, Meet, Chat, Calendar, and Keep. Together, these tools allow lesson management, content creation, communication, and collaboration to be organized within a single unified digital environment, reducing the need to switch between multiple platforms.

The tools are designed to enable more flexible lesson planning, simplify the preparation and sharing of teaching materials, and support a more systematic approach to assessment. They also expand opportunities for personalized learning and significantly reduce the time teachers spend on administrative tasks, allowing them to focus more on direct instruction and student engagement.

To access Google's tools, teachers log in to the Digital School platform, select the "Google Cabinet" section, and connect using their unified @teacher.edu.az accounts.
